Terms & Conditions
By reserving, purchasing, adopting, or accepting delivery of a puppy from MaltBichonHaven.com, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Reservations, Payments & Refunds
A deposit is required to reserve a puppy and remove from availability. Remaining balances must be completed before or upon delivery unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Deposits are fully refundable within 7 days if:
- we fail to deliver within the agreed timeframe, or
- a licensed veterinarian confirms a health defect not disclosed in the adoption agreement within 30 days of adoption.
Approved refunds, replacements, credits, or resolutions remain at the sole discretion of MaltBichonHaven.com. Contact us for suitable payment options.
2. Health, Records & Puppy Information
All puppies are delivered in good health, having received age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, veterinary checks, and early socialisation before placement. Health and vaccination records are provided where applicable.
Most puppies are rehomed between 12 weeks and 6 months of age and may already begin basic potty training and simple commands.
Adult size, coat colour, temperament, and appearance may naturally vary as puppies mature. No guarantees are made regarding exact adult size, colour, or breeding suitability unless confirmed in writing.
Buyers are encouraged to arrange an independent veterinary examination shortly after receiving their puppy.
Placement, Delivery & Collection
Our puppies are raised through a trusted network of loving home breeders. Viewings and collections are arranged by appointment, typically after deposit or payment, to respect the privacy, hygiene, and security of our homes and puppies.
Delivery timelines may vary depending on location, weather, transport availability, and puppy readiness. Buyers must ensure someone is available at the agreed delivery or collection time.
Risk and full responsibility transfer to the buyer upon collection or delivery.
4. Buyer Responsibilities
By adopting a puppy, the buyer agrees to provide proper nutrition, grooming, veterinary care, exercise, training, supervision, and humane living conditions at all times while complying with local laws, housing regulations, and long-term care responsibilities associated with pet ownership.
Limitation of Liability
MaltBichonHaven.com is not responsible for illness, injury, or conditions arising after transfer due to neglect, accidents, improper care, stress, diet changes, environmental factors, or failure to follow veterinary guidance.
We are also not liable for transport delays or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
6. Acceptance of Terms
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any placement not in the best interest of the puppy. Submitting payment, reserving a puppy, or accepting delivery constitutes full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
